Eligibility: The applicant for admission should be a resident Indian National and should have graduated from colleges located in India

NRI and foreign nationals may contact the Admissions officer for details of admission

A minimum of 60% is required in the qualifying full time bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution

Candidates appearing for the final examination to be held in April/May and whose results will be available on or before 15th August are also eligible for admission

The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must include a minimum of three years of regular education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalentConsistent academic record in X and XII standard is required

CAT / XAT / MAT / GMAT score is essential

Executive work experience is an advantage but not essential

Scholarship: Students with valid CAT / XAT / GMAT score of 95 percentile and above are eligible for full fee waiver

Students with valid CAT / XAT / GMAT score of 90 percentile and above are eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver

Students with valid MAT score of 99 percentile and above are eligible for full fee waiver

Students with valid MAT score of 95 percentile and above are eligible for 50% tution fee waiver

Selection Process: There will be two sessions of selection process

Sessions I and II are independent and there will be no carry forward of the merit list

Students may apply for session I or for session II at the specified time

Students who do not get selected in session I may also re-apply for session II

The selection process includes the following criterion; academic performance (Class 10/12/undergraduate degree); group discussion; micro presentation; written skill assessment (WSA) and personal interview

Candidates must report for the above selection process at the allotted date and at least 30 minutes prior to the stipulated time in the e-admit card

Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process

This is a two year full time residential programme and follows trimester system

Seats: 180

15% of the intake is allocated for admission to NRI/NRI sponsored students

Over and above 15% seats are also allocated to Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Students/Children of Indian workers of Gulf countries and South East AsiaEligibility: A three year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

Candidates appearing in the final year of the bachelor’s degree and fulfilling all the requirement for obtaining the degree by 25th June, 2013 can also apply provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by 30th September, 2013

The candidates failing to meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be asked to withdraw from the programme

The tuition fee paid by such candidates will be forfeited unless such vacant seats are filled by other candidates

Admission Procedure: Applicants are required to appear for common admission test (CAT-2012) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM)

The CAT examination will be conducted at different centres all over the country between 11th October, 2012 and 06th November, 2012

Institute of Management, Nirma University will receive the test scores from IIM for those candidates who have appeared in the CAT examination and have also applied to IMNU

IIM have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme

Foreign students/NRI/Person of Indian origin/Gulf countries and South East Asia candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their GMAT scores also (not taken before January, 2012)

However NRI sponsored candidates will be considered for admission only on the basis of CAT scores

Selection Process: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in different components of common admission test will be called for personal interview and a written test (to test the written communication skill)

The interview and the test will be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Patna and Pune

The candidates will be finally selected for admission based on their candidate’s performance in the CAT, personal interview, written communication test and academic performance in X/XII/graduation

The following weightages will be given for each component of the selection criteria; common admission test (CAT) 60%; personal interview 20%; written communication test 10%; academic performance 10%

An additional score of up to 5 points will also be given for full time relevant work experience in a professional organization

Eligibility: A recognized bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Candidates appearing for the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply

Selection: Selection to the programmes is based on CAT-2012/XAT-2013/MAT-December-2012, February-2013, May-2013 performance, write up, group discussion and personal interview

Application Form: Application can be made by any of the following modes

Applying online on the website www.bimtech.ac.in of the institute followed by payment of Rs 1850/- through credit card

Online application form can also be filled using scratch card, which can be purchased from the BIMTECH admission office or channel partner centers or Axis Bank branches (list given on www.bimtech.ac.in) on payment of Rs 1800/-
