All courses are approved by the distance education council

Applications on the prescribed proforma are invited from eligible persons for admission to the following courses offered through distance mode residing in the State of Haryana and from all over India and abroad

20% Internal Assessment has been introduced in each theory papers of the undergraduate courses in a phased manner

The candidates seeking admission to distance education courses of Kurukshetra University are advised to contact the Directorate directly at their own level

Admission Form: Prospectus code DE-12 containing admission form and other details can be obtained from the Manager (P&P), K.U., Kurukshetra-136119 on payment of Rs 400/- (Rs 100/- for SC/BC/Blind candidates of Haryana only) at the university press counter or by post by sending a bank draft of Rs 450/- (Rs 150/- for SC/BC/Blind candidates of Haryana only) in favour of the Registrar, Kurukshetra Universitypayable at Kurukshetra

Candidates desirous to get admission form through post must send two self addressed slips and code number of the prospectus with their request for prospectus

Prospectus can also be had on payment of Rs 425/- (Rs 125/- for SC/BC/Blind candidates of Haryana only) from the Head/Authorised post offices in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Delhi

Candidates using admission form after downloading shall be required to pay an additional fee of Rs 400/- (Rs 100/- for SC/BC/Blind candidates of Haryana only) along with other dues for admission

Last date for receipt of admission form complete in all respects with a late fee of Rs 1000/- for all the courses is 30th November, 2012
