Sri Krishnadevaraya University was established in 1981 to provide the higher education in research and  technical science . This university was established as the post graduate center of the Sri Venkateswara University . Initially this institute of post graduation becomes a autonomous system in 1976 and then this institute become a full residential and affiliating university in 1981. This university has its regional office in Anantapur , Andhra Pradesh ,India. The Sri Krishnadevaraya University has many departments for the under graduation and post graduation degree courses.

This is a large university in Andhra Pradesh. This university has 112 affiliated colleges in many districts and 7 women’s colleges. The university provides all the facility for the students like research programs, library system, internet facility and other jobs program etc. The university provides the regular and part time degree courses. This university has 400 teaching department in all the disciplines. The SK university has these degree courses B.A., B.Com, B.Tech, BBA, BCA , M.A., M.Tech, M.Com, MBA, MCA etc
