Shreemati Nathibai  Damodar Thackersey  Women’s University  is also known as the SNDT. This is the university  of Maharashtra state which was located in Mumbai. This is the oldest university in the state which was established in 1916 under the British Region. This university was a dream of many famous people for providing the higher education for all girls. In 1915 the university act passed by the National  Social Reform Congress in Bombay. This university started its functioning on July 2,1916 with the enrollment of five students.

The university has three main campus two in Mumbai and one in Pune. The University has many affiliated colleges in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. The SNDT Women’s university has many departments for the under graduation and post graduation degree courses. The university has a great symbol of its excellence education. The under graduation degree courses are B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Ed etc. The post graduation degree courses are M.A., M.Tech, M. Com. MBA, MCA, M.Ed and many more.

The SNDT Women’s university has a large library system in which all kinds of academic books are available for helping the students. The university exams are successfully conducted. The result will be declared in May, June. All the students are waiting for their results. The result will be shown on the official website at www.sndt.ac.in.
