The Jadavpur university was established in 1955. This is the famous university which was enacted the necessary legislation to establish Jadavpur University on 24 December 2013. The University mission is to provide the higher education for all the students and improve the economic situation of the country.

This is a foremost Indian University which provides all the degree courses in each department. The university is known for its commitment towards advanced study and research. The University provides the under graduation and post graduation degree courses in arts, science, management, diploma, medical, engineering, research, business administration. The under graduation degree courses are B.Tech, B.A., BBA, BCA. The post graduation degree courses are M.A., MCA, MBA, M.Com etc.

The university conducted many extra classes before the examination for week students. The exams are successfully conducted. The result will be declared in July and January.
