Designer descriptions:
Stijl – Modular Display Furniture for the Moda Imaginavel Fashion Bazaar
The design of this project began with inspiration from the artistic avant-gardes of theearly twentieth century.
We seek references in the clean lines, clear and objective of basic
geometric shapes(square and rectangle) of Neoplasticism Piet Mondriaan,
the new aesthetic, universal and impersonal of De Stijl, Theo van
Doesburg and Gerrit Rietveld, the design geometric and non- mimetic from
Russian Constructivism and theuseful and functional design of the
Bauhaus.
The project highlighted three guiding essences, or rather the three ‘L’s: Lightness , Liberty and Longevity.
