Phobos Lamp Design by Malet Thibaut
Designer descriptions:
Phobos ia a desk lamp prototype, with an oak structure and plaster sphere.
To highlight his material, the design uses simple shapes, straight lines and square angles.
The cut are painted like inside the sphere, with a shinny color which contrast with the mat effect of the plaster.
The
lamp has a sliding sleeve that plays with gravity to maintain his
equilibrium, no screw are uses for this object to keep the design pure
and sober.
It can be turned upside down to illuminate a wall or a piece of architecture to becoming a mood lamp.
