About NMAT: Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in 1981, by the order of the University of Mumbai, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies was established to meet the growing demand for young managers. NMAT is the MBA entrance exam for admissions to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai. The NMAT is designed on a multiple-choice question format that includes Language Skills; Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency; and Logical Reasoning.
Exam Details: NMAT 2012 exam conducted for admission in to full time Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery ), BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) and M.Sc (Master of Science) in Biotechnology is necessary.
How to get the application Form: Both Offline and Online Registrations are available.
Offline Mode: Forms can be bought from all the Axis Bank branches by paying the fee in cash or DD. DD should be made in favor of “SVKM’S NMIMS payable at Mumbai”. Pay in slip needs to be sent on the following address after cash payment:

Online Mode:
1. Click on Register for NMAT - 2013 in the Quick links on the left side of your screen.
2. A new window for filling the NMAT Online Application form will open on your screen.
3. Click on the New User Registration button on the left side of the screen.
4. If you decide to make the payment at a later stage, you need to click on the Make Payment button on the top of your screen after logging in with your unique NMAT ID and password.
Exam Pattern: The total duration of NMAT exam is 2.00 hours (120 minutes). The exam is divided into three major sections. The sections are Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. The format of the exam is objective type. There are total 120 questions are asked in the exam.
