Kanpur University is known as the
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University which is located in Kanpur
Uttarpradesh. The Kanpur university was coming in 1966 when the Agra
University was split into two university Kanpur university and Agra
University. There are nearly about 4.5 lakh students were enrolled in
it. The university started its functioning after passing the legislature
of the government of Uttar Pradesh. The university has a large library
system in which all kinds of academic books are available for the
helping of the students. The university has 350 affiliated colleges in
15 districts. The university provided the profession degree courses in
the arts, science, commerce, computer application, management, law,
engineering, biotechnology, business administration etc.
