Food Corporation of India or FCI is an organization that has been set up to safeguard the interests of farmers. The organization has been established under Food Corporation Act passed in the year 1964. The main objective of this organization is to extend effective operations regarding price support. For a system regarding public distribution, FCI helps in the food grain distributions throughout India. The organizations also ensure National Food Security by maintaining a buffer stock of food grains. FCI offers career opportunities to eligible and capable professionals. The organization issues notification for posts in its various depots. 

Presently, for the year 2013, vacancies in General, Technical, Depot and Account Departments are available. This food supply and demand chain maintaining organization welcomes young and skilled personnel in their offices all over India. Since these jobs are Central Government jobs, candidates selected for these jobs will not be able to enjoy age relaxation rules offered by the Central Government for some categories. In accordance with the directives, FCI is poised to start the process for selection of candidates through a written examination. After this exam, the candidates are also supposed to clear a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).

Criteria for Eligibility (On or before 1^st day of the month August, 2013)

# For General AG-III- Post Code A- In any discipline, a graduate degree is required along with computer knowledge;

# For Accounts AG-III-Post Code B- B.com from recognized University along with computer knowledge;

# For Technical AG-III-Post Code C-B.Sc Agriculture or B.SC in other Science subjects like Bio Technology, Botany, Zoology, Bio Chemistry, Food Science, and Microbiology from a recognized University along with Computer knowledge;

# For Depot AG-III-Post Code D- Graduation in any discipline along with Computer Knowledge;

Criteria Regarding Age

# The candidates should not be more than 27 years in age on or before 1^st of August in the year 2012.

• ·         Last day of Application Sending for candidates residing in far areas as demarcated by the government- 28^th September, 2012
• ·         Date of Examination- 11^th day of November 2012
