The RGPV is a private state university in the Madhya Pradesh state in India. The full name of the university is the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. The RGPV University was established in the year 1986. The university was established by the act of the government of the Madhya Pradesh state. The main campus of the university is situated in the Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh state. The campus is spread in a large area of about 247 acres of land in the Bhopal city. The university was established with a mission to provide facilities of technical education, research and innovations.
The university is recognized by the university grant commission (UGC). The university is offering education in both under graduation and post graduation courses. The university is offering technical education in many different subjects and departments. The university is also providing distance learning education for the students who are not able to attend regular classes. The university is also providing education facilities for the diploma courses too.
