The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is located in Shimla. The HPBSE established in 1969 . This board of education came into existence under the Act of No. 14 of 1968.The Himachal Pradesh board of education is a self independent organization. In the year of 1983 the headquarter of the board was shifted to Dharamshila in Kangra District in 1983. English is the official language of the Himachal Pradesh Board of school education.
There are many text books are also provided to the students. The Board of school education of Himachal Pradesh has some departments like J.B.T., T.T.C., P.V.T.C is also included for the 10th class students. The HPBSE have 34 departments when it started. The board has main departments are Arts, Science, Math all these departments have their many sub parts. There are some kinds of workshops and practical classes are also done for the student’s development.
