University of Delhi will not conduct DUMET Entrance Exam this year


The University of Delhi has announced that the DUMET – Delhi University Medical Dental Entrance Test will not be conducted for the academic year 2012 – 2013. Every year the admission to MBBS / BDS Courses for all categories under Delhi Quota will be based on the DUMET Exam Scores.

But this year, the MBBS / BDS Course admissions will be based on the marks scored by the eligible candidates in All India Pre Medical / Pre Dental Entrance Examination ( AIPMT ).



The Preliminary Exam of AIPMT conducted by CBSE is to be held on 1st April, 2012 and the Final Examination on 13th May, 2012. Candidates to become eligible for Delhi University admission to MBBS / BDS courses should apply and appear in the AIPMT 2012 Exam compulsorily.
The Application Form for Delhi University admission will be available after the declaration of AIPMT final examination results.
