Let’s see which are the top ten best selling single volume books to date in all languages. The books are listed by the highest number of sales estimated in reliable, independent sources. Religious books, especially the Bible and the Qur’an, are probably the most-printed books, but it is nearly impossible to find reliable sales figures for them. Print figures are missing or unreliable since these books are produced by many different and unrelated publishers. Comic books and text books are not added in the list. Here, “best-selling” refers to the estimated number of copies sold of each book. The number of sales are approximate.
