Bose
Bose Corporation is a privately held organization, based in Framingham, Massachusetts, that specializes in audio equipment. Bose Corporation develops and manufactures audio devices (including speakers, amplifiers, headphones, automotive sound systems for luxury cars), automotive suspension systems, and performs some general research (such as debunking cold fusion.)

Koss
Founded in 1953 as the J.C. Koss Hospital Television Rental Company by John C. Koss, after a short time Koss was looking for new ideas, and partnered with Martin Lange to eventually develop a stereo headphone. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA; in 1991, Koss Audio & Video Electronics started producing and selling consumer electronics products as a separate company in Hazelwood, Missouri, USA. The Koss family owns more than 75% of the firm.
Having only a high-school education, John C. Koss worked with Lange, an engineer, to develop the headphone that launched the company almost by accident, as they came upon the headphone idea as a result of an attempt to market a portable phonograph.
Denon
Denonis a Japanese electronics company that was involved in the early stages of development of digital audio technology, while specializing in the manufacture of high-fidelity professional and consumer audio equipment. For many decades, Denon was a brand name of Nippon-Columbia, including the Nippon Columbia record label. In 2001 Denon was spun off as a separate company with 98% held by Ripplewood Holdings and 2% by Hitachi. In 2002 Denon merged with Marantz to form D&M Holdings. The Denon brand came from a merger of Denki Onkyo and others in 1939.
Ultrasone
Ultrasone AG is a German company specializing in headphones for studio, DJ, and consumer uses. Ultrasone AG was founded in 1991 with the stated objective to manufacture advanced headphones with an emphasis on the professional audio sector. A feature of many Ultrasone headphones is a proprietary surround-sound simulacrum technology called S-Logic. The process uses decentralized transducer positioning to spread sound over the outer ear in an attempt to mimic sound heard over speakers.

It has more than 5,000 employees worldwide. The American subsidiary of the company is known as Creative Labs, Inc..

Beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG is a German audio equipment manufacturer, which produces microphones, headphones, wireless audio systems and conference systems. Beyerdynamic remains a family owned company since it was founded in 1924.
Grado
Grado Labs is a manufacturer of high-end dynamic open-air headphones and phonograph cartridges. All Grado headphones operate using Grado’s vented diaphragm technology, dynamic transducers, open-air, “circled” 40mm driver-oriented supra-aural earcups , and Grado’s GS and PS which deploys a larger earcup), an Impedance of 32 ohms, and a Sensitivity level of 98 dB. All Grado headphones have a non-resonant air chamber (with the SR325i having an aluminum version, and the Reference and Statement headphones having wooden versions each), and all Grado headphones use high-energy neodymium magnets for each earcup. All Grado headphones are available only in one color with the exception of the iGrado, available in either white or black. The iGrado use the same drivers as the SR60, but are assembled in China to reduce cost.
