How to Set Readonly Textbox using jQuery

Here I will explain how to make or set asp.net textbox readonly using jQuery.

If we want to make textbox readonly using jQuery we need to write the code like as shown below


$('#<%=txtUserName.ClientID%>').attr('readonly', true);
