The first agriculture university of India is known as the G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology. The agricultural university was inaugurated on November 17, 1960 by the Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru as the name of the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture university (UPAU). In India, there is a great freedom fighter Govind Ballabh Pant, in 1972 the university name is changed and convert into Govind Ballabh Pant. The GBPUA & T university has its campus in the Pantanagr Town in Udham Singh Nagar.
The GBPUA& T university has many departments for the under graduation and post graduation degree courses. The Pantnagar is the symbol of the partnership between India and the United States. This university is the famous university which is spread over a large area of 10,016 .29 acres. The university is granted by the state govt. There are many degree courses are provided by the university is several disciplines. The university departments are maths, engineering, research, commerce, science, biology, chemistry, physics, botany, zoology, microbiology etc. The university has 2, 3 and 4 year degree courses at the master and bachelor level degree courses.
GBPUAT Results 2013:-
The exams are successfully conducted. The university conducts an inspection process in the exam period. The exams are done with the semester pattern. The result will be announced in August, March. All the students check their result on the official website atwww.gbpuat.ac.in.
