Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2012 for admissions to First Year of Professional Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Homeopathy in the State of Goa shall be conducted on Wednesday, 9th May, 2012 and Thursday, 10th May, 2012 as per the below schedule at 10 centres in Goa.

GCET 2012 Pattern
Question paper shall be of objective, multiple-choice type containing 75 questions of 1 mark each, with no negative marking.
GCET 2012 Syllabus
GCET-2012 shall be based on syllabus prescribed by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim for Std. XII examination of March, 2012 in the above subjects.
As a caution note The Directorate of Technical Education Goa has stated if NEET UG is to be held in 2012, the medical and dental admissions will be based on NEET UG; rest of the admissions will be based on GCET 2012.
