ATMA 2012 Test Structure

The test Contains 170 Questions spread over Six Sections. Each Section is timed separately. Total time for the Test is 3 hours. The questions cover Analytical Reasoning Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Verbal skills.

February 2012 MAT Dates Announced

The All India Management Association (AIMA) will conduct MAT four times a year; the offline mode of test is scheduled to be held on 05 February 2012 and the computer based test or online test will be held from 11 February 2012 (Saturday) onwards.

The Schedule for MAT 2012 (February) is as below:

Test Timing	In different Time slots at specific test venues; subject to number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test.
Test Centre City	Test Centre City list is provided in the bulletin. Test Venues for Paper-Based Test and Computer Based Test are different. The Paper-Based Test will take place only on one day i.e., 05 February 2012 at one time slot i.e., 10.00am-12.30pm, whereas the Computer Based Test will take place from 11 February 2012 onwards in different time slots. If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 11 February 2012 itself. If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is few in a particular centre, these candidates have to appear for the Paper-Based Test on 05 February 2012 only. One candidate can appear only for one date for the February 2012 MAT.
List of Participating Management Institutes	Four Digit codes for Management Institutes/University Departments accepting the MAT Score are given in the List of Participating Institutes/Universities as MI Code. There are five blocks consisting of four boxes each given in the Form. Fill the codes of those five institutes only where you have applied or are applying for admission.Important Notice: Applicants are advised to check the approval/recognition status of various programs directly from the concerned Authorities/ Institutes/ Universities. (Note: No additional fee is to be paid for filling these 5 choices.)
MAT Registration Form Acknowledgement	All Forms received at AIMA will be scanned / validated within 3 days and the Form Numbers of such received forms will be available on website link: www.aima-ind.org/mat_receipt.aspx .Further, your form will be scrutinized and if found in order; it will be provisionally registered. MAT Registration Form received later than the due date is liable to be rejected. Neither any correspondence in this regard will be entertained nor will the fee be refunded.
Admit Card	All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can down load their Admit Card from AIMA website link: www.aima-ind.org/mat_centre.aspx 7 days before the Paper Based test date i.e., with effect from 28 January 2012 (Saturday). Specific Admit Card will be generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. Admit Card would be having Candidate Name, Form No, Roll NO, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them in the case of Computer Based Test. Candidates applied for Computer Based Test and who have been permitted to appear for the Computer Based Test; have to down load the Admit Card 7 days before the Paper Based Test date i.e., with effect from 28 January 2012 (Saturday) from AIMA website. Candidates accessing the website the earliest can choose the Date and Time of his/her choice subject to availability. Those who have not opted the date and time slot for 4-5 days; will be automatically allotted date and time slot by the system. No request for change of date and time slot can be entertained. No separate Admit Card will be issued or dispatched.

CMAT 2012 Dates Announced – AICTE

AICTE is conducting the first National level Common Management Admission Test CMAT 2012  for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE for the year 2012-13. The testing window for computer based test will be open for nine days i.e. from 20th February, 2012 to 28th February, 2012 in 61 cities.

The candidates will have option of selecting date and city for appearing in the test. The initiative has been taken to address the issue  of physical, mental and financial burden being imposed on the students through a multitude of entrance examinations being followed by the institutions for admission into all Management Programmes in AICTE approved institutions and University Departments.

AILET 2012 Likely To Be Held On 29th April or 6th May 2012

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) to be conducted by National Law University Delhi is likely to be held on either 29th April (Sunday) or 6th May (Sunday), 2012 from 3.30 P.M to 5.00 P.M. AILET is an entrance test for admission into B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.) five year Programme. AILET is a one and half hour test with 150 questions for a total of 150 marks.
