The Eastern Institute for integrated Learning in Management came into existence in 1995. The university provides higher education initially in some specific departments are Master of business administration. The university is also known as the EIILM. This university is the colleges of the Visva Bharati University. The EIILM university established under the Sikkim State Legislature  Act no 4 of 2006. The university is recognized by the university grant commission. The university is the  famous university of the state which is located in the City of Jorethang.

The university provides all the degree courses at the level of mastery and bachelor. The university has many affiliated colleges in many districts of the state. The university campus is very large in which dispensary, medicine, internet, playground, laboratories, library etc.  The degree courses are  completed in 2, 3 and 4 year. The under graduation and post graduation degree courses are coming in these discipline arts, science, language, education, engineering, research, medicine, business administration and much more.

Every year 10000 students are sitting in the university exams. The exams are done in semester pattern. The exams are very important to check the skills of the students. The exams are successfully conducted in June. Now the result will be declared very soon in August. All the students can check their results on the official website at www.eiilmuniversity.ac.in.
