India’s first 3G mobile service operator Mahanagar Telephine Nigam Ltd (MTNL) is all set to upgrade IP-based next generation network 3G data network with 28 Mbps speed in Mumbai and Delhi circle city in next few months.
The MTNL 3G Up-gradation process is kicked off and company plans to upgrade its 3G/HSPA Network from 3.6 Mbps to more faster up to 28 Mbps over the next 9-12 months.
Speaking with TelecomTalk, Mr. A.K. Garg, CMD, MTNL, said ”We are in process to upgrade the 3G network which is expected to be completed with in 9 to 12 months and our customers in the Mumbai and Delhi will experience the upgraded 3G/HSPA network with more faster speed and better indoor and outdoor coverage.” Read more…
